Release Event - Live Stream Zoom: February 28

For those joining the Release from the comfort of your home, we’ve created an experience that mirrors our in-person event. Your tasting kit will arrive the week before the event, and during the live Zoom session we’ll explore the new wines together with a series of discovery questions designed to spark reflection and connection. You’ll be able to share your impressions through quick polls and interactive chat moments, bringing everyone’s voice into the experience. The tasting will be recorded, so even if you can’t join us live, you’ll be able to revisit the full deep dive into the 2024 vintage at your convenience.

Tasting Kit:

Each 2024 Futures Tasting Kit is curated for two people to share and includes 3.4 oz pours of ten single vineyard wines from the new vintage, along with a beautifully detailed tasting booklet featuring technical notes, vineyard maps, and vintage insights to guide your experience.

Each summer we have the honor of traveling to a lodge, deep in the Eagle Cap Wilderness that had been revamped and built around food, wine, and adventure. 

The Minam River Lodge is a getaway like no other, a remote wilderness retreat nestled on 126 acres in northeastern Oregon, accessible only by hiking, horseback or a short flight to its private airstrip.  Seriously!

Founded in the 1950s as a hunting lodge, this beautiful lodge has been turned into a simple yet elegant boutique wilderness hideaway.  With hand-built log cabins, onsite organic gardens and amenities including a wood-fired hot tub or rustic sauna just steps from the wild and scenic Minam River.  It's the perfect place to reconnect with nature and an era when life was a lot less complicated.  Go hiking or horseback riding, fish along the Minam River, soak in the wood-fired hot tub, get a relaxing massage, feast on healthy, locally sourced cuisine, and gaze at the star-filled sky.

On Saturday afternoon, join Ken for an intimate technical tasting exploring the evolution of Walter Scott Wines, guided through some of the most impactful wines he has crafted over the years, an experience few get to engage with the winemaker and his extraordinary portfolio.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7th– Single Vineyard Exploration Dinner

The weekend culminates with a Single Vineyard Exploration dinner hosted by both Ken Pahlow and Erica Landon where Chef Piva’s inspired cuisine meets the wines of Walter Scott in perfect harmony, creating an unforgettable finale to this immersive experience. Ken and Erica will take you on a deep dive into Koosah Vineyard Chardonnay and Temperance Hill Pinot Noir, tasting through a vertical of vintages from each site.

For those seeking adventure beyond the table, optional daytime activities spotlight the Oregon Rogue River landscape: hike scenic trails, try your hand at fishing or unwind with a restorative spa treatment.
